The ACCEL program of Affiliated Community Medical Centers has purchased the first production model of The Blade hockey treadmill from Woodway, the largest specialized treadmill manufacturer in the world.
The innovative programming of ACCEL and the German engineering of Woodway combine to offer hockey skater's an unparalleled training experience. Woodway's treadmill design provides a larger-than-life rotating sheet of "black ice" allowing hockey player's to train using the blades of their own skates. This program is for all players who want to develop and improve their skating. Receive one-on-one training on The Blade hockey treadmill to develop long, powerful strides and sound skating mechanics. Develop explosive legs and quick feet through a variety of plyometric drills.
"Our goal is to provide area athletes the best training experience possible," says Jeff Kennedy, Program Director of ACMC's ACCEL program, which already uses The Force sprint treadmill from Woodway. "Because our programs push athletes to their limits, we welcome the technology that supports that ideal while providing for safety first."
