QUITPLAN services is a grant partnership between Affiliated Community Health Foundation, ClearWay Minnesota and the Affiliated Community Medical Centers clinic system.

QUITPLAN services are committed to being affordable to everyone who wants to use it. Cost for individuals with no health insurance or no tobacco cessation coverage will be covered by QUITPLAN services. The only cost for participants who have smoking cessation and prescriptions coverage is the co-pay.

The tobacco cessation services will be discontinued on October 1, 2010 in three clinic locations – ACMC-Benson, ACMC-Granite Falls and ACMC-Litchfield. It is important for all adults living in this communities who want to quit tobacco to schedule an appointment in August or early September, 2010. Most patients benefit from two or more appointments for cessation counseling with a QUITPLAN cessation specialist.
