Location
In Granite Falls, gentle rolling prairie gives way to the scenic Minnesota River Valley, creating breathtaking vistas in and around the community. The Upper Sioux Agency State Park, located in the immediate Granite Falls area, is the meeting place for the Yellow Medicine and Minnesota Rivers. This lush, 1,200 acre park has camping, an interpretive center, canoeing, boating, fishing, horseback riding, a horse campground, hiking, and nearly 20 miles of cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails.

Granite Falls has a population of 3,000 with a strong work ethic and commitment to education. The school district has an enrollment of about 1,100 students in K-12, with two elementary schools and one high school. Granite Falls is also home to Minnesota West Community and Technical College, offering over 60 technical and liberal arts programs.

Facilities
ACMC-Granite Falls has three family medicine physicians, a nurse practitioner and a physician assistant. They serve the 30-bed, acute care Granite Falls Municipal Hospital and neighboring 57-bed Medicare certified skilled care Granite Falls Manor. Cardiologists, surgeons, dermatologists, ENT and other specialists provide outreach to Granite Falls.
