Frequently Asked Questions

The ACMC eClinic App is a convenient and cost effective way for patients to access care from an ACMC physician for conditions commonly treated in urgent care. Simply log into your app from your phone or desktop, report the symptoms you are experiencing, answer a quick 5 to 10 minute assessment and an ACMC physician will respond within 60 minutes with recommendations and treatment plan.

How do I access the ACMC eClinic App?

It's quick and easy! Download the app from the iTunes and set up your personal profile. Your profile will contain information that will give the reviewing physician a customized view of current medications, allergies, immunizations, past procedures, existing conditions, and family history to assist with accurate diagnosis and safely prescribing medications. You can also log into the desktop version at http://bit.ly/2qltGcb to complete your profile or to complete an eVisit assessment.

Who Can Use The APP?

The app is recommended for ages 2 to 65. Parents and guardians who would like to utilize the app for their dependents must create an eClinic account and then add their dependents to their account. You do not have to be an ACMC patient to utilize the ACMC eClinic solution.

When Can I Use the ACMC eClinic App?

You can access ACMC eClinic 24 hours a day. An ACMC participating physician will return your treatment plan within 60 minutes if you submit an assessment between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. Assessments that are completed after 8:00 p.m., will be answered immediately the following morning.

What types of conditions do you diagnose and treat?

ACMC's eClinic solution treats common conditions like cold/sinus infections, bladder infections, earaches, pink eye, etc. The ACMC eClinic app is designed to treat conditions you would be most likely to visit urgent care for, but can easily be taken care of in the comfort of your own home.

What is included in the $35 visit fee?

An eClinic visit includes a detailed and thorough assessment of the symptoms you are experiencing along with a diagnosis, recommendations, and prescriptions sent to your local pharmacy if necessary. If the physician reviewing prescribes a medication to treat your symptoms, the prescription will be sent to the preferred pharmacy you selected when you set up your profile. The cost of your prescription is not included in your $35 assessment fee. Condition's that are not appropriate for an eClinic solution will be triaged appropriately and you will not be charged for the assessment. At this time, ACMC eClinic solution does not accept insurance cards and is not able to make claims on your behalf.

Who is reviewing the assessments that I submit?

One of our own ACMC physicians who are participating in the eClinic solution will review your assessment, prescribe medications, and provide recommendations for you based upon your assessment just like you would if you saw them in the office.

Is using an eClinic App safe and effective for my family and me?

Our physicians have selected only conditions that have been determined to be safe for online care. The questions within the assessment are some of the same questions a doctor would ask in an actual face to face office visit. For certain conditions, the app will allow you to upload a picture so the reviewing physician has a real time view of the condition you are seeking treatment for. All diagnosis are made by a board certified physician.

What if I have questions for the eClinic physician after the visit is complete?

If you have questions regarding the treatment plan or recommendations after the eClinic visit is complete, you will have the ability to connect with the physician.
