Wellness Scans
| Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the U.S. Half of all people who have experienced strokes had no warning signs. Are you at risk? |
ACMC-Marshall and Willmar Medical Services (a joint venture between ACMC and Rice Memorial Hospital) offer two wellness scans that will help identify your risk for stroke.
These scans enable you to be screened for vascular disease as a part of your own personal prevention plan. The ultrasound procedures are painless and will give you additional health information you can share with your physician.
After the scans are read by a radiologist, you will receive a letter with your results.
This letter can be shared with your physician. As an added benefit to ACMC patients, the screening results will be automatically included and maintained in your medical record at ACMC, so you or your physician can access the information when needed.
Payment will be required before we begin your screening exam (check, cash, or credit card accepted). We will not file insurance claims for these services.
