Scope of Practice
Provision of anesthesia services within the anesthesia team format involving anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists.
General and major regional anesthesia provided for surgical patients; intrathecal analgesia for obstetrics; epidural narcotics for thoracic and major abdominal surgery; as well as chronic and subacute epidural steroid injections for patients with spinal pathology and acute herpes zoster.
