Family Medicine is a medical specialty that emphasizes comprehensive medical care for families as a whole and as individual members, caring for patients from birth to advanced age.
Medical concerns are managed through diagnosis, treatment and prevention of common illnesses and chronic diseases taking into account genetics, family history and mental health. Dr. Meister provides pregnancy and delivery care. He is trained in the insertion of Implanon contraception. Dr. Meister also coordinates and manages patient care with other specialists.

Biography
Originally from Cloquet, MN. Attended Dana College in Blair, NE graduating in 1988. Graduated from University of MN School of Medicine in 1997. Residency in Family Medicine at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton while serving active duty in the United States Navy. Last duty station was in Guam where I served as Director, Family Medicine. I also participated in the RPAP program in Marshall from 1995-1996. I enjoy endoscopy, sports medicine and provide a full spectrum family medicine practice.
I enjoy all outdoor activities, spending quality family time with my wife Karen and our children Noah and Sydney, and cycling during my off time.
